I don't think I need all those trays. Can I get a credit instead? You can order the PRO version which doesn't include the trays. However, the Trays are designed to be swapped in and out based on the venue you are using your Fog Box for. You will be surprised at how much you will use each of them.
-
Why is the art printing an upcharge? The art on the box is not printed, it's Hydro Graphic water dipping. It's a special paint film that sits on top of water and when activated, becomes liquid and sticks to most surfaces. Hard Cases are especially a challenge because of all of the recessed areas. This process takes extremely steady hands and experience. Our skilled artisans take great pride in making each one a work of art.
-
Why is my art slightly different than my buddies? The film that lays on the water is larger than the object being 'dipped'. Therefore, when the box is pulled up through the water, it can hit the film in slightly different spots. This makes your box 100% unique and different than any other.
-
Why have a Flask option in the same space as a 4 1 oz bottle option and a thermos option? It all depends on your personal preferences and the venue you are using your box with. If you are doing air travel, the 200 ml flask and thermos must be empty, but your bottles can be full. A thermos is best if Hot or Cold is important. It also holds the most volume. The 4-bottle option is good for versatility of spirits options.
-
What do I need to do to protect my humidor? The hydro graphics are applied as film on the box and then clear coated. The clear coat is extremely durable. Enjoy your humidor without worry of damaging the art. Occasionally you can wipe it down with a microfiber cloth and a product like Maguire's auto detailer.

What preparation is required to keep my cigars humidified? Our humidors seal watertight, so moisture has a hard time escaping unless you are opening it a lot. That being said, cigars like 70% humidity. The more cigars in your Fog Box, the more humidifying you need. Here are steps you can take to keep your cigars from becoming too dry or too moist. 1. Initially the cedar tray should be lightly coated with distilled water or 70% humidor solution on all sides and allowed to set for 12-24 hours. 2. Keep your included humidity device filled with distilled water or glycol solution. On Hot days, daily filling may be necessary. 3. It's a good idea to keep your box out of direct sun light as much as possible. 4. Using the included extra humidity pack as a backup can help on extra hot days.
